Founder-led — Why Galaxy Exists
When I started Galaxy Accountancy Service, my goal was never simply to prepare accounts and submit tax returns.
I wanted to help people build better businesses.
Over the years, I worked with hundreds of self-employed individuals, sole traders and small businesses. While every business was different, I noticed a common challenge.
Many business owners did not struggle because they lacked ambition or opportunity.
They struggled because their financial information was disorganised.
Income was recorded inconsistently. Expenses were captured late. Receipts were misplaced. Important records were often reconstructed months after the event.
The result was unnecessary stress, missed opportunities and avoidable compliance challenges.
This experience shaped a principle that continues to guide my work today:

As a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), Fellow Financial Accountant (FFA) and Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants (FIPA), I believe that better information leads to better decisions, stronger businesses and greater confidence.
That belief ultimately led to the creation of FlowFormTax — a practical platform designed to help self-employed people and small businesses organise their financial information, become accountant-ready and prepare for Making Tax Digital.
